As a registered charity, Brighton Students' Union is governed by a trustee board.

Our trustees include our four full-time student officers and up to four student trustees. We also have up to four external trustees, who have specific skills or experience in our sector.

Our Trustee Board meets four times a year. They are responsible for ensuring Brighton Students' Union is a well governed, well managed and sustainable organisation. The board regularly reviews progress against our objectives and ensures we are meeting our charitable aims.

VACANCIES

We are seeking additional trustees to join our existing Board to help us fulfil our aim of Making Student Life Better. We have vacancies for 1 External Trustee and 2 Student Trustees.

The information pack contains all the details about the role and how to apply.

We are particularly looking for students from Falmer and City campuses to ensure we have a good representation on our Board. No experience is needed, just a desire to Make Student Life Better.

We are particularly looking for an external trustee with knowledge and skills in diversity and inclusion, HR, charity law and/or students' unions.

Closing Date: Friday 31st January 2025
