Hello there!
We are the official first ever society of linguistics for the University of Brighton. We seek to celebrate language and linguistic features with fellow linguists and learners alike as well as to collaborate with fellow societies.
We will be running everything from pub quizzes, to board game nights, to presentations on dead or secret languages.
This society is also an outlet for any students taking linguistics or language as a single or joint honours degree so that students can set up study groups for upcoming exams or to help with projects.

Hello, my name is Maddy and I have had an interest for languages since I was small. I created the Linguistics Society for any current students taking the course or any other students who just wish to come along and have a nice time.
