A reading sharing first-hand accounts from LGBTQ+ members about their experiences in their country and on arrival in the UK, addressing the particular challenges they face going through the UK asylum system. Following the reading will be a Q&A.

Monday, 10th February, Amnesty International are collaborating with external company, Ice and Fire Performances, and fellow Societies, Drama Society and LGBTQ+ Society on the play, This Is Who I Am.

 

This Is Who I Am shares first-hand accounts from LGBTQ+ people about their experiences in their own country and on arrival in the UK, addressing the particular challenges they face going through the UK asylum system. The reading will be followed by a Q&A Panel Discussion.
