#1 What was the objective of your event?
As a society our aim was to bring staff and students closer together by hosting a pub quiz which ignited a warm, fun and social atmosphere mixed in with a hint of healthy competition between staff & students.

#5 How did the attendees participate?
Both Staff and students that attended the event were engaged in a pub quiz competition, fighting for the all-important 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes – with a £25 amazon voucher for the winning team, further sweetened with the ultimate prize of bragging rights. The winning team this year was “Too Fit To Practise”, with the students defending the title for the 3rd year in a row. Unfortunately, the staff missed out narrowly on finally being able to claim back bragging rights.
#6 What did you learn?
We as a committee learned how to plan and organise a successful event, and we learned that the events we run has endless benefits both socially and academically for pharmacy students.
#7 How does your event benefit students?
We as a committee believe that any event we organise, it is for the benefit of our fellow students and staff by creating an exciting, friendly and spirit-lifting atmosphere where staff and students can make positive relationships with like-minded people. We believe our events create a better quality of life for our students by providing them with a university social experience which caters to their personal social desires. We try our best to provide something for everyone to get involved in and bring people closer together, no matter what their background may be.
