Here is what the committeee had to say about the month that bagged them the prize fund...
"We have had a busy few weeks! From Oct 27-Nov 27 we completed 5 hikes covering 44.2 KM, which is just over a marathon's worth, or like walking to the top of the i360 272 times.. or 700 times around it even. We collaborated with 3 different societies, including a beach walk and social evening with the Ecological Society, astroll through Sheepcote Valley with BioSoc, and finally a visit to Rottingdean along the undercliffs and Beacon Hill Nature Reserve with the BSMS Book Club - in which we did as a joint charity event for Cool Earth to raise awarenessfor climate change. Speaking of charity events, our society members helped raise £155 for Sussex Homeless Support in part of our "Eat This & Go Actually Study" bake sale, in which we allowed everyone to donate anything they could afford. Finally, it's probably worth omitting this part but our membership for this month has tripled from 20 to 60 members- which is probably a good thing".
