It’s important to note that the fund isn’t intended to cover living expenses or course-related costs.  If you need help with these you can access the University hardship funds here.

We can only fund extracurricular activities within the University community. For example, if you’re looking to join a sports club, go on a society trip or take part in another activity with a group of students. There’s also things we can’t fund like individual holidays or trips with non-student groups.

For successful applicants, the cost of your activity will be transferred directly to the club, society or department that is organising the activity. We won’t transfer you the money or give out cash.
