Finances should not be a barrier to your involvement in extracurricular activities at university, so for this reason, we have introduced the Participation Fund as an initiative to support you. We understand that taking part in extracurricular activities not only enhances your university experience but also your sense of community as a student.

Whether it’s joining societies, sports teams or taking part in non-course related trips, the Participation Fund is here to enhance your student life! With a generous pot of £10,000, you can claim up to £100 to fuel your chosen activities. It’s important to note that the fund isn’t intended to cover living expenses or course-related costs.
